​Jordan Hill is a literary agent at New Leaf Literary and Media. Jordan is primarily pursuing genre and upmarket fiction for adults with a focus on SFF and horror. Whether through relationships, plot, or conflict, books on her list often address the question: all hope is lost, what now? She loves intergenerational stories that grapple with the complexities of families and culture through time and anything with an unreliable narrator or a speculative bent. She’s always on the hunt for books that feature female wit and rage, bodies of water as foreboding, and eruptive moments of catharsis. She also considers historical fiction or retellings with a fresh approach and compelling perspective. Prior to agenting, she worked in advertising and before that, was a bookseller at an independent bookstore. She hails from Texas but has made her home in Brooklyn and enjoys being a tourist in her own city.

Caitlin Blasdell has been a literary agent with Liza Dawson Associates since 2002 with a focus on commercial fiction. Before becoming an agent, she was a senior editor at HarperCollins Publishers. A graduate of Williams College, she lives in Westchester with her husband and four sons.

 

Caitlin specializes in quality commercial fiction including science fiction & fantasy, historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers, and women’s fiction. She also handles a few select middle grade and YA authors.

Lissa Woodson has been an industry professional as a publishing and marketing consultant, developmental editor, and literary event planner for nearly 25 years. Now stepping into her role as an Associate Agent at CMA, Liv is excited to both discover refreshing, compelling, and fantastical stories and champion new creative voices in the industry. In her free time, Liv loves to go hiking in the Rocky Mountains near her home in Colorado Springs, as well as collect books as she slowly works toward making her home office a 1,000-book library.

I have a BA in Early Childhood Education and MA in Theology and Religious Studies which led me into children’s ministry for many years. Eventually, my lifelong love of books and authors drew me back to my original dream of entering the publishing world. I’m a multi-published author and freelance writer. I’ve held such positions as the Blog Manager for a national women’s ministry  and the Social Media Manager for a publishing house. All these components landed me a spot in the coveted Writers House Intern Program. There, I received valuable hands-on agenting and publishing experience which I bring into this position. I also served as an ECPA Emerging Leader in 2023, which garnered a precious 2024 mentorship which furthered my understanding of the Christian publishing landscape.

I have long been a voice for diversity. I’ve written extensively on topics of racial reconciliation and unity and am a facilitator of groups around these topics in my church. In all my focused genres, I welcome books with BIPOC, AAPI, or disabled main characters and diverse friendships. I believe books change people in all the best ways and that every child should see themselves in the pages.
