For decades, USA TODAY bestselling author Lee Ann Ward has been teaching writers how to write winning books that readers devour. Lee Ann is the Founder of Writing Away Refuge and an agent liaison. She is a premier writing coach and workshop leader. And now for the first time, you can take her 6-month class "Write a Book with Lee Ann Ward" over Zoom! Lee Ann has taught this class live since 2012. Classes will be held each Thursday evening beginning Thursday, August 6th, from 6:30 PM--8:30 PM Central Time (7:30 PM--9:30 PM Eastern Time), and will meet weekly through January 28th, 2027 (we will not meet Thursday, November 26th, in observance of Thanksgiving or Thursday, December 24th, in observance of Christmas Eve, but will use those weeks as extended weeks to write). Classes will also be recorded so you won't miss a single session!

Each week, Lee Ann will guide you and provide you with the skills you need to write a book that will not only engage and captivate your readers but will also grab the attention of agents and editors. Class is strictly limited to 12 students because Lee Ann will be spending time with each writer and we will be drafting and sharing our work in class often. This class is for fiction and nonfiction (memoir and narrative nonfiction) book-length writers.
